Pastor Eugenio Piñero graduated in 1976 from Northeastern Bible College , located in Essex Fells, New Jersey (USA). During his formative years, he joined Trinity Baptist Church, also in Essex Fells (later in Montville), where he was deeply influenced by the pastoral ministry of Albert N. Martin.
"Pastor Albert N. Martin's ministry was a powerful influence on his biblical knowledge and spiritual character development."
In October 1977 , Pastor Piñero was called to serve as interim pastor of First Baptist Church in Hoboken, New Jersey. After a process of evaluation according to the biblical standards set forth in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1:5-9 , he was officially recognized and called as senior pastor in February 1978.
Under his leadership, the church experienced significant growth in the understanding and application of the Scriptures in personal, family and church life.
"We must follow the Scriptures wherever they direct us."
This approach has helped many believers to rediscover biblical, genuine and historical Christianity, which in many cases has been forgotten in contemporary practice.
As God blessed his work, other pastors began to seek his advice and guidance. This allowed him to share what he had received, strengthening the growth of biblical ministries committed to spiritual reform.
"May this be our perspective as a church, every day of our earthly pilgrimage."
